Paige 23 is an accomplished pop/rock Indie band based in NYC. In January 2002, the band released Let Yourself Fall, an album showcasing their ability to create instant radio hits. Paige 23 worked on their third album, In Retrospect, which was released in the summer of 2004. With the backing of publishing company ACM Records, Paige 23 is being marketed to cable TV networks, film companies, and record labels.
In November 2003, the band's song "You Couldn't Stop Me" (which appears on Let Yourself Fall) was used for a scene in the hit NBC show "Ed"
during an episode entitled History Lesson. This same song caught the ears of the DJs at WAXQ 104.3 in New York, and Paige 23 landed a spot in the Big Bash at the Big M, a concert showcasing unsigned talent, held at the Meadowlands Racetrack in New Jersey.
Over the past 4 years, the band has released two albums, landed radio airplay, signed a publishing deal, and produced two videos. They completed "Let Yourself Fall" without the backing of a major or Indie label and celebrated the CD's release at the Hard Rock Cafe in Manhattan. Paige 23 is currently gigging throughout New York - from the clubs in the East Village to universities in upstate NY - building their fan base, driving CD sales, and making a name for themselves.
You may have already heard Paige 23 on WAXQ 104.3, WLIR 92.7, WHCP 90.3, and WICB 97.1, or seen them at B.B. King's Blues Club, The Hard Rock Cafe, The Continental, CBGB's 313 Gallery, The C-Note, or the University of Rochester.
Paige 23's accomplishments emphasize the band's flair for songwriting: 1. Run, Run (Too Far From Me) - winner of the BMG Songwriting Contest 2. You Couldn't Stop Me - appeared in NBC's Ed, 2003.
